ShapeWars has no accounts, no sign-up and no e-mail list. You can play the entire game without telling it anything about yourself. What little is handled is written out honestly below.
If website analytics are switched on, they are used only to count visits and see roughly where players come from, never to identify individuals. If analytics set cookies, you will be asked before that happens.
ShapeWars is suitable for a general audience and deliberately asks for no personal information, which means a younger player can play it without handing anything over. Please do not type a real full name, an address, or any other personal detail as your player name — it is visible to other players.
If you are in the EU or the UK you have the right to ask what is held about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to complain to a supervisory authority. In Sweden that is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY). Because almost everything above lives in your own browser, the fastest erasure is to clear your browser data for this site.
